We are visiting Grandma and Grandpa this weekend in my hometown, Canberra. While some refer to it as Can'tberra or even Canboring I'm happy to be here and catching up with friends. Yesterday we had coffee with Sarah, Monica and Betty. Betty played quietly in the corner while Mark destroyed the entire house before our eyes :) Well, boys will be boys!  Mark caught his 4th plane ride to get here. On previous flights he was angelic but this time around he was a total ratbag. For some reason he was entranced with the expensive looking leather jacket worn by the (very patient) guy sitting next to us. We had to physically restrain him from climbing on him and eating the jacket. He did manage to escape, slobber all over it and then giggle with pleasure a couple of times. It probably does not bode well for our upcoming round the world trip which involves a good 50 hours flying. Would someone please pass the Xanax? Flights aside, we are very excited about the upcoming wedding of our friends in Canada. More baby news coming soon!
